a new OS

The quad-core processor won't reach it's full potential in Windows XP, and rather than upgrade to Vista, I decided to go with Linux. I used to run Redhat before it was commercialized, but I've been out of the game for a while. I debated between Fedora and Debian and decided to run the stable release of Debian (lenny).
